Rebecca O'Connell is a content strategist and eCommerce specialist with a decade of experience in digital media and content strategy. They currently serve as the Senior Managing Editor for Shopping and Commerce at BuzzFeed, after holding various editorial positions, including Commerce Managing Editor at Merriam-Webster and Shopping and Commerce Editor at BuzzFeed. O'Connell's background includes roles at The New York Times as an Instagram Content Strategist and at Mental Floss as an Assistant Editor. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Delaware and completed a UX/UI Design program at General Assembly.
