Shawheen Keyani is an accomplished filmmaker and entrepreneur with extensive experience in video production and photography. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Gnomebird since March 2024, Shawheen also operates Studio Keyani, a portrait and headshot photo studio, since January 2023. As a Video Producer for BuzzFeed's Goodful channel since July 2021, Shawheen writes, directs, and edits videos. Shawheen has been a Music Video Director for Interscope Records since August 2019, collaborating closely with artists and music industry representatives to produce high-quality music videos. Additionally, Shawheen has directed self-produced commissioned works and gained foundational experience as a Video Producer at Gadgetbox Studios from 2013 to 2015, as well as a Photography Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Cruz in 2014. Shawheen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of California, Santa Cruz, obtained in 2014, and graduated from The Thacher School in 2010.
