BVV Barendrecht is opgericht op 12 februari 1926. Begonnen als dorpsclub en inmiddels een volwaardige topamateurclub in het zaterdagvoetbal. Inmiddels telt BVV Barendrecht meer dan 2.200 leden. De hoofdmacht speelt in de Tweede Divisie op sportpark De Bongerd.
