Andre Fortier

Andre Fortier is an experienced operations manager currently leading radiochemistry and waste processing operations for MO-99 / TC-99m at BWX Technologies, Inc. since May 2022, while also serving as the back-up operations manager for Y-90 production and spearheading digital transformation initiatives. Prior to this role, Andre provided consultancy services for CVQ activities during the start-up of a Nuclear Pharmaceutical plant at ProPharma Group. With a robust background at Abbott from September 2002 to May 2021, Andre held various positions including Project Manager in Supplier and Product Engineering, where complex plastic injection molding tools were implemented and product improvements initiated. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Wafer Fab Engineer at Nortel Networks from 1998 to 2002. Andre is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Educational qualifications also include a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering obtained from the University of Ottawa.
