James Epting

James Epting currently serves as Vice President of Mission Optimization at BWXT, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, James was Senior Vice President for NNSA Operations and Programs at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. from July 2023 to July 2025. With extensive experience at Honeywell, James held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Vice President, Deputy Vice President, and Chief Business Officer for NNSA Operations and Programs from October 2019 to June 2023. James also spent over a decade at ANSER, serving as a Distinguished Analyst and Business Developer and as Division Manager for International Security before retirement. James Epting holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Troy University and has further education from Golden Gate University.
