John Stanek

John Stanek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and engineering, currently serving as the Deputy Director at BWX Technologies, Inc. since May 2022. Prior to this role, John held various leadership positions at BAE Systems, Inc. from July 2007 to April 2022, including Program Director for the M88A3 Modernization, where responsibilities encompassed strategic development and contract execution for modernization efforts. Additionally, John has a strong background in product development as Director of Engineering at BAE Systems and previously as Program Manager & Chief Engineer at Tennant Company, overseeing multi-million dollar projects and cross-functional teams. Early career experiences include significant roles at Isuzu Motors America Inc and the US Army, where John managed major defense products and modernization programs. John holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute.
