Joseph Phillips

Joseph Phillips, CPA, CGMA, has extensive experience in financial management and analysis, currently serving as Controller and Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at BWX Technologies, Inc. since February 2015. Previously, Joseph held the position of Financial Analyst at The Babcock & Wilcox Company, where key contributions included the development of a forward pricing rate forecast model and leadership of an accounting team to resolve discrepancies across multiple plants. Experience also includes an accounting role at HCI-EBS, Inc., where Joseph significantly improved the efficiency of financial statement preparation, and an internship at The Babcock & Wilcox Company that involved auditing and supporting monthly closing activities. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Liberty University.
