Michael Johnson is a Director of Engineering at BWXT, bringing over twenty years of progressive expertise in project management and personnel relations within the nuclear power sector. Previously, Michael served in various leadership roles in the United States Navy, including Defense Support of Civil Authorities Planner at US Northern Command and Shift Engineer at NPTU, where they supervised a crew of over 120 personnel. Michael earned a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Dedicated to building motivated teams and maintaining high standards of excellence, Michael seeks to leverage their extensive experience in a second career focused on organizational improvement.
