Michael Lansing

Michael Lansing is an experienced professional in high hazard security, emergency management, and quality assurance. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at BWX Technologies, Inc. since October 2018, Lansing previously held significant roles, including Associate Director for Mission Assurance, Security, and Emergency Response at Los Alamos National Laboratory, overseeing mission assurance for a workforce of 9,000 and a $2.1 billion budget. Prior to that, Lansing was the Security Operations Manager at Nuclear Operations Group, managing a 200-employee security force, and served as Security Deputy Division Manager at B&W Pantex, where responsibilities included policy formulation for a 700-employee security division. Michael Lansing holds a Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wheaton College.
