Nick Matune

Nick Matune, P.E., holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University. They served as an Adjunct Professor, instructing courses in Nuclear Engineering and Mechanics of Materials, and worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant, where they developed a conceptual design for a hydraulic control system and conducted fluid solid interaction analysis. As Structural Design Manager at BWXT Nuclear Operations Group, Inc., Nick oversaw a team of structural design engineers and was responsible for final design approvals and compliance with engineering specifications. Previously, as a Structural Design Engineer, they performed extensive thermal and structural analysis for nuclear reactor vessels.
