Scott Kirk, CHP, has over 25 years of experience in the nuclear industry and currently serves as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at BWXT TSG, focusing on radioactive waste management. Previously, Kirk held the position of Vice President of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs at Waste Control Specialists LLC, where significant accomplishments included leading the successful licensing of the first new regional disposal facility in Texas in 40 years. Earlier in their career, Kirk worked at Nuclear Fuel Services and Battelle Memorial Institute, contributing to various regulatory and health physics programs. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology/Physics from Appalachian State University and a Master’s degree in Environmental Health & Health Physics from East Tennessee State University.
