Peter Andersen

Peter Andersen is the Chief Research & Development Officer at Treefrog Therapeutics and has a diverse background as an executive leader, keynote speaker, entrepreneur, and board member. With a focus on heart and muscle development, they served as an Assistant Professor at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2014 to 2018, where their research involved stem cell biology and disease modeling. They co-founded Vita Therapeutics and the JHU Stem Cell Consortium, and has been instrumental in investment initiatives through byFounders. Peter holds multiple degrees, including PhDs in Cardiac Development and Molecular Biology from Københavns Universitet, and has contributed extensively to the field through numerous publications.
