Martin Hellgren

Martin Hellgren is an experienced professional in the ecommerce and technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of Tech and Subject Matter Expert at Byggmax AB since January 2018, where expertise in Magento is applied as a senior ecommerce advisor. Previously, Martin held the position of CTO at Buildor.se from June 2015 to December 2021, overseeing all technical aspects with a focus on ecommerce. Early career experience includes roles as Frontend Lead and Web Developer at Vaimo, where responsibilities included improving work processes and developing ecommerce solutions with various technologies. Martin began a career in sales at Kjell & Company and co-founded NiRo Data / Siplica, a business focused on communication-enhancing platforms. Academically, Martin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer- & Systems Science from Stockholm University and has studied at Växjö University as well as ProCivitas Privata Gymnasium.
