Niklas Hamberg

Head of Supply Chain at Byggmax

Niklas Hamberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Niklas started their career in 2003 at Spendrups Bryggeri AB, working in distribution. In 2009, they joined ST-Ericsson as a Master Thesis intern. Later that year, they became a Purchasing Analyst at Byggmax AB. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Logistics Manager and then became a Strategic Purchaser in 2010, where they managed various product categories. From 2014 to 2021, Niklas held the position of Head of Logistics at Byggmax AB, overseeing a team working on logistics strategy and development. Niklas also served as the Managing Director for Svea Distribution. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Supply Chain Manager at Skånska Byggvaror AB. Finally, as of April 2021, Niklas has taken on the role of Country Manager Byggmax Norway at Byggmax AB, where they are responsible for internal efficiency programs.

Niklas Hamberg completed their Master of Science in Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium from 1999 to 2002, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during this time.
