Dr. Patrick Wonner studied at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2014, a Master of Science in Chemistry in 2016, and a doctorate in Chemistry with distinction in 2020. From August 2020 to March 2023, Dr. Wonner worked at Merck KGaA, focusing on the production and development of nucleoside phosphoramidites and other components for oligonucleotide synthesis while leading the Process Development department. Currently, Dr. Wonner serves as Process Manager at Oleon GmbH in Emmerich am Rhein, specializing in process engineering, energy management, and process safety. In addition, Dr. Wonner has taken on the role of Leiter Labor Prozesssicherheit at BYK Additives, starting in 2025.
