Rob Valiton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Rob is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Byos, where they are involved in the development and implementation of a unique cybersecurity offering that operates at the lower levels of the OSI stack. Rob also holds the position of Board Observer & Business Advisor at Byos.

In addition to their role at Byos, Valiton has served as an Advisory Board Member at OmniPreSense Corporation since 2016.

Valiton is actively involved in nonprofit organizations, including the Mr. October Foundation for Kids, where they serve as a Board Member. Rob is committed to enabling students of underrepresented minorities to thrive in STEM fields. Valiton is also an Advisory Board Member at the Salvation Army Silicon Valley.

Previously, Valiton held the position of Chief Operating Officer at The Quest Institute, a nonprofit organization focused on developing and marketing STEM-based educational programs. Rob played a key role in introducing and engaging students in STEM careers.

Earlier in their career, Valiton held leadership roles at Atmel Corporation, including SVP & General Manager and VP Sales, where they were responsible for driving a turnaround and restructuring of the company. Rob had full P&L responsibility for several business units and was instrumental in revenue generation.

Valiton's experience also includes serving as VP Worldwide Sales at Silicon Image, Inc., where they were responsible for making HDMI a globally adopted interconnect. Rob played a pivotal role in the company's successful IPO.

Prior to that, Valiton held positions such as Area Sales Director at Summit Microelectronics, Area Director at Benchmarq Microelectronics, and Area Sales Manager at Rayovac.

Rob Valiton attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1982 to 1986, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Plastics Engineering. During their time at the university, they also completed a minor in Chemistry.
