Mariana Gaspar

Mariana Gaspar has a diverse work experience with a focus on marketing and communications. Mariana currently works as a Marketing Manager at BySide, where they execute marketing strategies for two digital marketing and communication brands. Prior to this, they served as a Marketing Manager at Synergie Portugal, where they implemented marketing and communications strategies and handled social media, PR efforts, and marketing campaigns. Mariana also has experience as a Communication Assistant at EIT Manufacturing, where they assisted in developing and implementing communication strategies and created content for online channels. In addition, they have interned as a Junior Copywriter at QA Publicidade, where they worked on copywriting for various brands, and had freelance roles as a Social Media and Creative Content Writer at Fashion Makers Studio. Mariana also has experience working as a Bartender at Eventualidades e Casualidades, and held positions as a Member at CC:FM - Rádio Universitária and Editor at JUP - Jornal Universitário do Porto. Mariana was also part of the media team at the International Water Association.

Mariana Gaspar obtained a Master's degree in Marketing Management from IPAM, which they attended from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they completed an intensive course in Digital Project Management at EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, Mariana earned a Licentiate degree in Communication Sciences: Journalism, Public Relations, and Multimedia from Universidade do Porto. Mariana also participated in a workshop on Social Media Marketing Strategy at EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education in 2017. Additionally, in 2016 to 2017, Mariana studied Public Relations and Publicity as part of an Erasmus program at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

In terms of additional certifications, Mariana completed a course titled "UNDERSTANDING FASHION: FROM BUSINESS TO CULTURE" at Institut Français de la Mode in May 2020. Mariana participated in the Academic Forum of EYP Porto in February 2015, organized by the European Youth Parliament. Mariana also participated in the School of Life, Sciences, and Health at the University of Porto, as well as the School of Physics at the same university in 2012. Mariana holds a Certificate in Advanced English (CPE) from the University of Cambridge, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are unknown.
