Mikael E. Laroche

Head of Brand, Marketing & Communication at Byte Back

A proud graduate of Queen’s Royal College in Trinidad and the Howard University – he moved to Washington D.C. in 2007 to pursue his Bachelors of Arts – with a concentration in Interior Design and minor in Graphic Design. Upon graduation in 2011, Mikael pivoted from his degree course and began his own small businesses, developing multiple brands and websites globally, inclusive of the local product – D.C. Carnival. He was snatched up by his alma-mater in 2017 and served for 4 years as the Creative Services Manager for WHUT – Howard University Television, where he was solely responsible for the redevelopment of their digital presence, the development of their new website and multiple projects that serve their audience.

Mikael joins the Byte Back Family with 11 years of experience in Brand development, web analytics, website management and development, graphic design, video editing and event management. An effective communicator, he proudly serves as the Vice-President of his fraternity chapter in Washington D.C., leading philanthropic efforts that are built in strengthening the fabric of the Washington D.C. community. A former athlete and coach, he is proud of his family and enters Byte Back with a spark of energy, to propel the mission FUTURE FORWARD.
