Carol Perkins

Director of Enterprise Services at Bytecode IO

Carol Perkins has a long and varied work experience. From 2007 to 2019, they have held various roles in a number of different companies. Carol began their career at BAE Systems as part of the Women In Technology Program. In 2010, they became an Undergraduate Intern at Project 54, where they developed Windows-based applications, documented results, created user manuals and videos, collaborated with field users, and worked with speech interfaces, mobile devices, and multi-touch applications. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Research and Development UNH-IOL IEEE 1588 Consortium at UNH InterOperability Lab, where they wrote the 1588 Power Profile Test Suite. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Jolata, where they were the engineering team lead and conducted data analysis of customer network traffic to identify trends and issues. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, they were a Principal Engineer at Turms.AI, where they worked quickly and closely with a small team to build an AI product that applies deep learning and machine learning modules to predict and detect anomalies utilizing existing telemetry data. From 2019 to present, they are the Director of Enterprise Services, Senior Client Project Lead, and Senior Data and Analytics Consultant at Bytecode IO, Inc.

Carol Perkins completed their high school education at Nashua High School North in the Math and Science Department in 2008. Carol then attended the University of New Hampshire, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2012, followed by a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering in 2014. In 2011, they attended the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in Electrical Engineering. In 2019, they obtained the Advanced Looker Developer Bootcamp certification from Looker. In 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), followed by the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from AWS in the same year.
