Charlie Killian

Charlie Killian has extensive experience in the technology industry. Charlie began their career in 1998 as the Owner of Tizac Technologies. In 2003, they joined D.W. Morgan Company as a Technology Strategist, where they served as IT Department visionary, anticipated and evangelized leading-edge technologies, and provided technology guidance and direction for the company and its customers that supported the company’s business goals. Charlie also served as the Architect and Lead Developer for key applications and initiatives. In 2007, they transitioned to Castfire as a Principal Software Engineer. In 2011, they joined PalominoDB as the Vice President of Professional Services. In 2014, they founded Bytecode IO, where they currently serve as a Solution Architect.

Charlie Killian obtained their BS in Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1992 and 1996. Subsequently, they obtained several certifications, including Looker Certified LookML Developer in November 2020, Snowflake Certified Associate in May 2018, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in September 2018, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional in December 2019, AWS Business Professional, Administrator for Apache Cassandra, Cloud Platform: App Engine Essentials, and IBM Hosted SaaS.
