Andy Chen has over 10 years of experience in distributed systems, focusing on online API services, Azure storage systems, and the development of distributed database kernels, including PolarDB-M at Alibaba Cloud. Currently, they serve as a Technical Lead at ByteDance, specializing in InMemory and LTM cache databases. Previously, Andy held various senior positions at Microsoft, contributed to EMC as a Senior Software Engineer, and worked at Alibaba Group on innovations for PolarDB for MySQL.
