Casper Chou is an experienced design leader currently serving as the Head of Design for Music at ByteDance since February 2022. Prior to this role, Casper held the position of Head of UX for GC Marcom at Apple from October 2019 to February 2022. Casper also worked at Alibaba Group from June 2014 to October 2019 as a Lead User Experience Designer, where oversight was provided for the design team of the Taobao Global App, focusing on comprehensive UX practices. Additionally, Casper contributed to the design of the award-winning Revo One RL85 home entertainment PC as an Industrial Designer at Acer from April 2013 to June 2014. At IDEO, a short stint as an Industrial Designer was spent in 2013, emphasizing advanced concept development in consumer electronics. Educational credentials include a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, completed in 2013 and 2010, respectively, along with foundational education at George School.
