Chris Chen

Chris Chen is a highly experienced Principal Engineer at ByteDance since September 2018, leading an engineering team focused on online payment services. Prior to this role, Chris served as a Senior Software Engineer at Meituan.com from September 2014 to September 2018, contributing to the research and development of online payment solutions. Additionally, Chris worked briefly as a Solution Engineer at Teradata and held a Senior Software Engineer position at Alcatel-Lucent for eight years, where major contributions included leading technical efforts in various product units. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Computer System Architecture from Jilin University.
