Jon Madeley is the Head of EMEA Employment Law at ByteDance, leading a team of employment lawyers and a paralegal across London, Dublin, and Dubai. They began their legal career as a Trainee Solicitor and advanced to become a Senior Associate at Mills & Reeve, where they advised UK employers on various employment law matters. Jon has also provided consultancy services as an Employment Lawyer for several organizations, including Warner Bros. Entertainment and DS Smith. With a solid educational foundation in History from the University of Warwick and a legal qualification from The University of Law, Jon brings extensive experience in both UK and international employment law.
