Max Moroz

Max Moroz is an experienced security professional currently serving as the Security Engineering Leader and Head of Security Assurance at ByteDance since November 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing a global department across multiple timezones and establishing a Security Assurance function for the non-China region. Prior roles include information security engineering team lead at Google, security researcher at Synack Red Team, CEO and co-founder of AVULN, and various positions in software development and testing at Intel Corporation, Aktiv Co., and Microsoft. Max holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and has completed Executive Education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
