Rui Li

Rui Li is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in algorithm engineering and recommendation systems. Currently serving as a Tech Lead at ByteDance since July 2020, Rui Li oversees the algorithm development for e-commerce experiences and push notification models. Prior to this, Rui Li held the position of SDE Tech Lead at Microsoft, focusing on automated ad generation and recommendations from September 2017 to July 2020. Experience also includes a role as a Senior Algorithm Engineer at 美团点评, where responsibilities encompassed entertainment and supplement ads, as well as bidding strategies. Earlier roles include Algorithm Engineer at Qihoo 360, specializing in natural language processing and computational advertising, and internships at Baidu, Inc. and Sony China Research Laboratory, where Rui Li contributed to advances in speech technology and feature engineering. Rui Li earned a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
