Yi Ge

Yi Ge is a software engineer currently working at ByteDance since April 2021, focusing on the backend architecture of TikTok. Prior to this role, Yi Ge was a backend developer at Garena from February 2020 to April 2021, where responsibilities included developing and maintaining core backend services for mobile games using Golang, as well as leading the migration of the web department to Kubernetes private cloud. Earlier experience includes serving as a backend web developer at Garena, designing and implementing web backends for in-game revenue events in Python. Yi Ge also worked at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from September 2016 to October 2018 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, earned in 2019.
