Yingda Li

Yingda Li is an accomplished Machine Learning Engineer and Tech Lead at ByteDance since January 2022, previously serving as a Machine Learning Engineer focused on Language Understanding at Google from October 2018 to January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at Nielsen from October 2015 to October 2018 and an internship as a Statistician at Validus Research Inc. in early 2015, where innovative statistical algorithms were developed. Yingda Li began a career in research as a Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University, working on probabilistic graphical models for image segmentation from February to December 2014. Education includes a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Sun Yat-sen University.
