Yuning Xia is an academic and research professional with significant experience in machine learning systems and computer architecture. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Rice University since January 2025 and previously as an Academic Visitor focusing on performance tooling for large-scale ML systems at the same institution, Yuning has also contributed to research at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
