Greg Newman

Greg Newman is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Bytefuse since May 2021, Greg drives the development of impactful AI products. Previously, as Technical Advisor - VP Special Projects at LifeQ, Inc. from September 2022 to October 2023, Greg collaborated with prominent organizations such as Qualcomm and Google on machine learning initiatives. Prior to this, Greg held roles at LifeQ, Inc. as Research Engineering Lead and Machine Learning Engineer, where significant advancements in wearable data analysis were achieved. Greg’s experience as Senior ML Engineer at Alphawave Group from June 2020 to May 2021 focused on identifying machine learning solutions for industry challenges, ultimately leading to the creation of Bytefuse. Greg's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics, both from Stellenbosch University.
