No place is born in a day and neither are the stories that made it.

Charlotte Baldwin - Mother of Houston and unacknowledged visionary - was an explorer and a builder. 1836 did not afford Charlotte the opportunity to leave her mark on all she created. She bankrolled, built and helped name this city before women even had basic rights. Today we honor Charlotte's tenacity and vision by proudly putting her name on the door of our hotel.

Nestled in the heart of the Allen Center, we celebrate the woman who dedicated her life to our city. C. Baldwin is a luxe hotel experience with inspiration rooted in Houstonian style. Our interior design and culinary partners have completely redefined the idea of modern indulgence, making it a truly alluring experience. Through a fusion of sensuous materials, sophisticated touches, impressive guest rooms, and incomparable culinary offerings – the C. Baldwin holds secrets of the past and promises of the future.

Elevated culinary offerings allow each guest the opportunity to satisfy their own personal preferences. In addition to Rosalie Italian Soul, our offerings include a convenient Good 2 Go coffee bar, and an expansive lobby bar designed to be a dynamic social scene and a focal point of the hotel’s lobby.

Modern, sophisticated décor and floor-to-ceiling windows exuding natural light adorn every guest room and suite. Premium rooms and suites on floors 15 to 20 provide expansive views of the city and surrounding Allen Center. A collection of rooms feature access to a Peloton cycle for those looking to enjoy a workout in the privacy and convenience of their own guest room.

Let the spirit of Charlotte inspire you to imagine the unimaginable. It was against the law to sign her name, but she made her mark anyway.

Now it's time to make yours.
