Ben Murphy

Ben Murphy has extensive work experience in the investment and technology sectors. Ben is currently working as an Investment Director at Kiko Ventures since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Investment Director, Cleantech, at IP Group plc starting from October 2014. Ben has also served as a Non-Executive Director at various companies, including C-Capture Ltd., Mixergy Ltd, and NGENICS GLOBAL LIMITED, starting from 2015.

Before these roles, Ben Murphy worked as a Strategy Manager at The Carbon Trust from June 2010 to October 2014, where they played a leading role in delivering the UK government's low-carbon technology innovation analysis and managing significant budgets. Ben also served as a Researcher at the European Commission from April 2009 to May 2010.

Additionally, Ben Murphy has experience as a founding employee of Redfield Consultants from October 2008 to November 2009. Ben started their career as an intern at Google from April 2008 to October 2008.

Ben Murphy completed an MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College London from 2007 to 2008. In 2015, they attended a short course at London Business School called "Financing the entrepreneurial business." In 2010, Ben also took a short course in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. In their earlier years, from 2004 to 2007, they studied Physics & Mathematics at Durham University. Most recently, in 2016, Ben attended a short course in Negotiation at London Business School.
