Vice President, Remote Sensing at C-CORE

Desmond Power has a diverse work experience with C-CORE. Desmond began working at the company in 1998 as an Engineer and continued in that role until 1999. From 2000 to 2010, they served as the Director of Radar & Vision, leading a team of 25 people in radar design, development, data analysis, and earth observation. Since 2011, Desmond has held the position of Vice President, Remote Sensing, where they lead a team of three directors and 35 engineers and scientists involved in radar design, development, data analysis, and earth observation. Desmond is responsible for business development, marketing, program development, and strategic analysis.

Desmond Power attended Bishop O'Neill Collegiate from 1980 to 1985 but did not receive a degree. Desmond then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Radar and Sonar, at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1985 to 1993.
