Shawn Thompson

Project Engineer at C-CORE

Shawn Thompson is a project engineer with extensive experience in environmental engineering and project management. Currently employed at C-CORE since April 2019, Shawn previously held the position of environmental project engineer at Fracflow Consultants Inc, where responsibilities included supervising junior engineers and designing drainage plans. Past experiences encompass environmental engineering and water resources roles with Nalcor Energy and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, where Shawn worked on environmental compliance, water quality analysis, and technical reporting. Early career experiences as an engineering co-op student at EllisDon, Wood Group PSN, and the Town of Gander provided practical exposure to project documentation, structural analysis, and municipal engineering. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Memorial University, completed in 2017.
