Bas Ort is a lawyer specializing in industrial, maritime, international, and trade solutions, currently serving as a partner at Zwartbol Advocaten B.V. since 1988. With a focus on contract negotiation and maritime trade, Bas has built a diverse clientele in the maritime and offshore sectors. In addition to their legal practice, Bas holds several non-executive director positions, including with Breedband Drechtsteden Groep and C-Job Naval Architects, and served as Chairman of NMT-IRO from 2017 until 2025, representing the interests of the Dutch maritime manufacturing industry.
