Gregor Hoffmann is an experienced professional in biotechnology, currently serving as the Head of Expression Systems at c-LEcta GmbH since July 2010. Hoffmann leads a team focused on the development of microbial expression strains and fermentation protocols for recombinant protein production, as well as advancing genetic manipulation tools for Bacillus species. Previously, Hoffmann held various roles at Universität Leipzig, including Research Development Team Manager, R&D Project Manager, and Research Associate, contributing to the junior research group "Protein Engineering." Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Leipzig University and a Diploma in Biochemistry, also from Leipzig University, in addition to coursework at FernUniversität in Hagen.
