Kayla Samuels

Kayla Samuels is a dedicated media professional with a background in production and social media management, currently serving as a Producer at C-SPAN since August 2021. Previous roles include Production Assistant and Social Media Producer, where responsibilities encompassed composing and delivering tweets, coordinating live event promotions, and managing corporate marketing efforts. Prior to C-SPAN, Kayla gained experience as an Intern at Corner Café Radio, focusing on booking guests and producing entertainment segments. From January 2018 to March 2020, Kayla worked as a News Anchor at WHOV-TV, preparing scripts and presenting stories on pop culture and current events for the Hampton Roads area. Kayla holds a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications from Hampton University, earned in 2021.
