Shannon Rice

Shannon Rice is an experienced podcast producer currently working at C-SPAN since May 2015, where responsibilities include producing and editing twelve different podcasts. Prior roles at C-SPAN involved producing "Washington Today," overseeing various aspects of radio politics, and managing social media for C-SPAN Radio. Shannon has a strong background in political media, having worked on the 2014 midterm elections and handled audio-visual editing for the First Ladies series. Previous positions include roles at EMILY's List, American University, the U.S. House of Representatives, USA TODAY, XM Satellite Radio, and Global Radio News. Shannon holds a Master's degree in Political Communication from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Public Affairs from the same institution, along with a Broadcast Journalism certificate from The George Washington University.
