Umer Farooq

Umer Farooq is an experienced IMS Engineer at C Spire since August 2019, with expertise in TAS, CSCF, PCSCF, MRF, and iSBC, focusing on IMS system alarms and resolutions, and executing comprehensive acceptance test plans. Prior to this position, Umer served as a Device Engineer at mobileLIVE Inc, specializing in wireless terminal certification and LTE/UMTS protocol analysis, and as a QA Analyst at ACTIA Group, responsible for QA in Agile environments. Additionally, Umer has worked as a Radio Engineer at Hyrkraft AB, conducting technical audits and equipment upgrades for LTE, and as a RAN Engineer at Orascom Telecom, handling maintenance of BSS network elements. Umer holds a Master's degree in Wireless Network and Electronics from Linköping University and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Technology from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
