James Cannon

James Cannon has worked in various roles since 2010. James began their career as a JSPS Post-doctoral researcher at The University of Tokyo. In 2016, they took on the role of Associate Professor at Kyushu University, where they conducted research and taught mathematics and other technical subjects to Engineers at undergraduate and postgraduate level. In 2019, they became Co-Founder of ChallengeHub, an SaaS EdTech startup working to improve education by making better teaching easier. In 2022, they began working as a Data Science Lead & Project Manager at C1X Inc.

James Cannon obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physics from the University of Surrey and a MPhys in Physics from the University of Surrey. James also obtained a certification in SQL for Data Science from Coursera in August 2021 and a Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2 from Japan Educational Exchanges and Services in July 2016.
