David Zarate

David Zarate is an experienced civil engineer with extensive expertise in overhead transmission projects. Since June 2016, David has served in various roles at C2 Group in San Diego, currently holding the position of Senior Overhead Transmission Inspector. Key contributions include leading the Power Your Drive program, where responsibilities encompassed site assessments, constructability reviews, client engagement, and quality assurance throughout the construction process. Prior to this, David worked at Bureau Veritas North America, Inc. as a Senior Civil Engineer from 2009 to June 2016, focusing on the Sunrise Powerlink project, where design and field engineering oversight were crucial.
