Michael Pickard

Michael Pickard is an experienced editor and journalist with a strong background in the media industry, currently serving as the Editor of Drama Quarterly at C21 Media since November 2014. In this role, Michael oversees the magazine's content focusing on international television drama, commissioning writers and conducting interviews with industry professionals. Previous experience includes positions as a Contributor for Drama Quarterly, a Reporter for the Daily Express, and Leading roles such as Deputy Group Editor at Newsquest and Editor at Scryptyd.com. Michael began a career in journalism at Watford Observer, progressing from Reporter to Chief Reporter. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in American Studies from the University of Hull and an NCTJ Preliminary Qualification in Journalism from Harrow College.
