Alan Taub

Alan Taub is a professor at the University of Michigan, specializing in Materials Science & Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, where they also serve as the Director of the Electric Vehicle Center. They have held several advisory roles, including positions at Bocar Group, X2F, C2A Security, Master Fluid Solutions, and AutoTech Ventures since 2018. From 2009 to 2012, Alan was the Vice President of Global R&D at General Motors and, prior to that, held various managerial roles at Ford Motor Company and General Electric. They earned a Sc.B. in Engineering from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Harvard University. Alan has contributed to the academic community through their role as a senior technical advisor at LIFT and as a board member for organizations like Nine Sigma and BrightWay Vision Ltd.
