Jim Winkler

Jim Winkler is a strategic advisor currently serving as a Senior Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and an Independent Consultant. Previously, they held leadership roles, including Vice President at Creative Associates International, where they managed significant contracts in economic growth and trade across multiple regions. Jim’s extensive experience spans various advisory and board positions, including roles at Georgetown University and the Corporate Council on Africa. They have a strong academic background, earning degrees from Tufts University and Georgetown University, including a Ph.D. in International Economics.
