Ali Panahi

Ali Panahi is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and web applications. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer for Machine Learning at C3 AI since April 2020, Ali specializes in low-latency LLM inference services and previously contributed to the development of distributed machine learning pipelines. Prior to C3 AI, Ali was a Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University, achieving notable recognition as the first author of a publication in the top 6% of the ICLR 2020 conference and successfully reducing neural network parameters significantly. Ali's earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer at Breezio, contributing to product development, and Software Engineer at Nidea, focusing on full-stack development of customized social networks. Ali holds both a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
