Karen Wright, CFA

Karen Wright, CFA has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the finance industry. Karen began their career at Conseco Capital Management, where they served as a Portfolio Manager, Credit Analyst, and Portfolio Analyst from 1995 to 2002. During this time, they gained valuable experience and learned the importance of avoiding comfort zones.

In 2003, Karen joined AEGON as a Trader, specializing in High Grade Credit Investments. Karen then moved on to become the Director of Capital Market Solutions, where they worked on structuring private transactions, just before the market crisis began. Karen later became the EVP and Group Treasurer, overseeing the merger of the US and NL Treasury teams and relocating to The Hague. Karen left AEGON in 2016 after gaining extensive knowledge in decision making, negotiation, and executing bond trades.

Following their tenure at AEGON, Karen Wright joined C3 Data as the Chief Financial Officer. Karen provided strategic advice, drove financial results, developed forecast projections, and secured funding for the cloud-based software company specializing in regulatory compliance solutions for the pyrometry industry. Their role at C3 Data began in 2016 and they are currently in this position.

In 2015, Karen also served as a Non-Executive Director and Supervisory Board Member at Scottish Equitable for a brief period of one year. This experience provided their with additional insights and perspectives in the financial industry.

More recently, in 2017, Karen became a member of the Board of Directors at Hamiltonian Funds. As a part of this role, they worked closely with the investment management team and contributed to the strategic operations of this Luxembourg domiciled RAIF. Their position ended in June 2021.

Throughout their career, Karen Wright has consistently demonstrated their expertise in financial management, strategic decision making, and executing successful transactions. Karen is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) and continues to contribute their extensive knowledge and skills to the finance industry.

Karen Wright, CFA attended Bryant University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Finance.
