Tim Smith

Tim 'Tuba' Smith currently serves as the Director of Festivals and Strategic Initiatives at C3 Presents, a position held since December 2012. In this role, Tim leads executive production and acts as Festival Director for high-profile festivals, overseeing creative vision, budget management, and stakeholder coordination. Tim also functions as the primary strategic liaison between C3 Presents and Live Nation Corporate, ensuring effective integration of festival platforms. Previously, Tim held positions as Production Director and Production Manager at C3, wherein responsibilities included managing all client-based events and handling event operations and logistics. Tim founded Tuba Productions, managing event production from November 2008 to January 2013. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Technical Director at the Lied Center of Kansas and Production/Logistics Manager at Stagepro Inc. Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Film Studies from The University of Kansas, earned in 2002.
