Helene Chartier

Hélène Chartier is the Director of Urban Planning and Design at C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, where they lead initiatives to promote sustainable urban planning and design practices. They oversee programs such as the Reinventing Cities competition and the Green and Thriving Neighbourhoods program. Previously, Hélène served as an advisor to the Mayor of Paris and held roles with the Paris Urbanism Agency and Arup. They hold a Master's degree in Civil Engineering and Environment from Ecole Centrale de Nantes, and have lived and worked in Paris, London, and New York over the last 15 years.
