Marcus Arcanjo currently serves as the Climate Finance Pipeline Development Manager for C40 Cities, focusing on climate finance initiatives since July 2023. Previously, Marcus worked as a consultant at E Co. from January 2021 to July 2023, where over 5 projects across 20+ countries were developed, amounting to over USD 1 billion in project size. Marcus has also held positions as a Senior Climate Change Analyst at Ingena Insight, where research and writing on sustainable investing and ESG themes were central responsibilities, and as a Junior Research Fellow at the Climate Institute, which promotes understanding of climate change and its impacts. An earlier role at C40 Cities included measurement and planning efforts dedicated to sustainable urban practices. Marcus holds a Master of Science in Development and Security from the University of Bristol and a BScEcon in Business Economics from Cardiff University.
