Omar Saracho is the Global Head of the UCAP Climate Action Implementation Programme and a seasoned urban planner, senior adviser, and manager specializing in climate change, sustainability, and community development. With over fifteen years of experience, they have developed innovative strategies and managed projects across 16 countries, primarily within international non-profit organizations and academia. Omar's past roles include advising urban programming in Indonesia for Mercy Corps and consulting on urban recovery for the Government of Guadalajara, as well as authoring evaluative research with World Vision. They hold a Master's degree in Environment and Sustainable Development from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente, A.C.
